CDs are on the way
We’ve just spent a furtune on stamps and sent out the first batch of CDs. More packing action this afternoon.

We’ve just spent a furtune on stamps and sent out the first batch of CDs. More packing action this afternoon.

First of all, thanks to anyone who placed an order in the last three days. We haven been a little bit overwhelmed by the amount of orders, so it might take us a few more days to send out all the CDs. Please bear with us, you will have the CD in your mailbox next week.
Another big thank you to everybody who wrote/talked/blogged about it and helped us to spread the word. Many thanks also to all the people who wrote us very nice and encouraging emails.
When we started this experiment, we had some doubts. Are there a lot of people ordering the CD without any intent of paying for it? Will there be a lot of misuse (like people ordering the CD just because it’s “free”, so they can make a few Euro by selling it on Ebay)?
But now, after reading tons of comments from people who ordered a CD, we have a good feeling that most customers will do an honest payment. We’ll post some statistics once we have some numbers.
Have a nice weekend.
The idea was in our head for quite some time, we even designed the website some months ago, but we were too busy to complete it, so we put in on hold, delayed it, almost forgot about it… now that our main distributor has closed down and everybody talks about Radiohead and their pricing model, the time is ripe to finally introduce a really special offer:
CHOOSE A CD, LISTEN TO IT, PICK A PRICE
We’re offering nine CDs from our backcatalog. Pick one that sounds interesting to you, fill out the order form and we’ll send it to you free of charge. When you have listened to it, you decide what you want to pay for it.
–> go to the special offer (in German language only)
Please note: This offer is only available within Germany. We might expand it to other countries, but we want to keep it simple and manageable for now.
We’ve found a box of CDs which have been returned from stores. The packagings are damaged and can’t be sold anymore, but we didn’t have the heart to throw away the CDs.
So here’s what we did: We’ve added the leftover CDs (without the packaging, just the disc) to their respective LP-versions. If you buy the LP you’ll have a free CD as a backup copy, for you car stereo or to make MP3s.
Here’s a list of LPs that will come with CDs (while stocks last):
NITRADA “0+”
NOAH23 “Quicksand”
NITRADA “We Don’t Know Why But We Do It”
PILOT BALLOON “Ghastly Good Cheer”
GIARDINI DI MIRO “Hits For Broken Hearts And Asses”
NOAH23 “Jupiter Sajitarius”
TELLARO “Setback On The Right Track”
PILLOW “Flowing Seasons”
NUCCINI “Matters Of Love And Death”
We’re having a huge sale this week at our mailorder. CDs from Piano Magic, Hood, The Remote Viewer, Maximo Park, American Analog Set, Stephen Malkmus, Sole, Lawrence are selling for just 4.90 Euro. We’ve also got some label specials from Carpark, Hausmusik, City Centre Offices, Onitor, Bubble Core and Klangkrieg… Lots of great stuff for little money.
Most items are available in very low quantities only. First come, first served. No reservations. Good luck.

Nitrada posted two Mp3s from a recent and not so recent live show on his virb-profile.

We’ve spent the weekend assembling and packing all preorders of the new Giardini di Mirò vinyl. Thanks to everybody who ordered the record and apologies for the delay. We hope that all parcels will arrive safely at your doorstep in the next few days.

The Giardini di Miro records arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, and much to our surprise, we’ve realized that the pressing plant made a mistake: The vinyl is yellow instead of red.
It looks quite ugly, because it doesn’t fit to the artwork at all, so we’ve ordered another batch of red LPs. But it will take about 10 more days until we get them.
If you preordered the record, you can either wait for the red vinyl or we can send you the black version right away (both with the CD of course). If you prefer the red version, just be patient and wait a couple more days. If you choose the black vinyl, please drop us an email to let us know.
To make up for the inconvenience, we will include the yellow vinyl with all preorders. So everyone who already ordered the record can pride him/herself in getting a super-rare collectors item, which only very few people have :)
