Labelnotes 04/26

I've been busy finishing the remaining pieces for the Quasi Casa release. The liner notes took a while. I started them some time ago, then abandoned them and couldn't find my way back in for weeks. When I finally did, I wrote way too much and ended up cutting at least half. Corrado also penned some notes about each song on the album, which was a lovely addition.

With the text done, I can finally get into the layout. I've already tested some ideas for the booklet that comes with the vinyl, and I'm looking forward to designing the whole thing.

On the PR side: I sent out a first batch of emails to some of our press contacts, but Giulia in Italy is doing the heavy lifting — and her work is already paying off. An article about Giardini di Mirò and a review of the record have already been published in Rockerilla, one of Italy's long-running music magazines. (I just looked it up: it was founded the same year I was born. Impressive.)
