Johannes Schardt

We've sent off the Giardini di Mirò masters to the pressing plant, so they can start cutting the vinyl. Meanwhile I've been busy with the artwork. The sleeve design is finally done, just waiting for another proof print to check some final details.

Luca, Christophe and I also discussed the visual direction of Luca's album and made some decisions. We know which photographic style we want and gathered some ideas on how to counteract* it.

We also released the second batch of limited merch this month:

In the last days of February, I built a promo CRM with my buddy Claude – who, it turns out, is a pretty capable developer. Pretty much exactly a year ago I vibe-coded a little website that collected the press coverage of our releases. Now, with more powerful AI tools, I set out to create a full-fledged tool to manage our promo work.

Version 1.0 is done: I can add artists, releases, contacts, publications and press clippings, and connect them. So let's say there's a journalist (contact) who writes for magazine A and blog B (publications). I can record when I sent her the new album (release) by Nitrada (artist). I can also set a reminder to follow up on a specific date. If she writes a review, I can upload a screenshot (press clipping), tag her as the author and the publication it appeared in. All of this is linked to the artist and release, so we can display it on a public page (not live yet, but soon). I can also filter contacts by type (journalist, radio host, podcaster, etc.), genre and territory, select them and export the selection.

Pretty neat for a couple of hours of work.
