Jupiter Sajitarius

Straight after "Quicksand" Noah went on to record "Jupiter Sajitarius".  And the title's theme suffuses the entire album: in astrology, yet another of Noah's hobbies, "Jupiter in Sagittarius" stands for intellectual evolution, skill improvement and the pursuit of ultimate perfection. To meet his ambitious goals, Noah allowed himself a good two years to get it just right. Whittling down the selection of tracks, the material for an entire further album went back on the shelf and only those songs closest to Noah's heart made their way onto "Jupiter Sajitarius". 

As always, Noah23 likes to assault his listeners with a barrage of references and quotes, both musically and lyrically. And in this, the 26-year-old knows no bounds – he feels just as comfortable rapping over melancholic string arrangements and classical piano passages as rhyming to funky bass lines or tweaked Dixieland samples.

Unlike its predecessor "Quicksand" (characterised by rather darker moods) this album opts for a more light-hearted approach. Expanding on the short bursts of singsong between tongue-twisting raps already evident on his previous recordings, for "Jupiter Sajitarius" Noah allows even more room for straightforward singing and delivers yet another impressive explanation as to why he is currently considered one of the most exciting MCs around.
